Scholarships are available through the Archdiocese of Dubuque to help offset the cost of training for individuals/couples in the archdiocese who would like to become Natural Family Planning instructors or medical providers. To be considered for a scholarship, interested parties must go through an application process.
Scholarships are awarded in the amount of up to $2,500 or 50% of the cost of training (whichever is less) for any NFP method approved by the Archdiocese of Dubuque. These methods and training organizations include the Couple to Couple League, the Creighton Model FertilityCare System, Billings Ovulation Method, FEMM Health, the Marquette Model, NeoFertility, Pearl & Thistle, Fiat Institute, and SymptoPro Fertility Education. The total amount awarded may be applied to training costs including tuition, books, lodging, and/or travel expenses to and from the training site. Proof of expenses must be provided (invoices, receipts, etc.). If possible, the Archdiocese will send the funds directly to the training organization (rather than the person being trained).
